    DLNA Media Server/Share

    Hello,

I have a couple of Samsung network-able TVs in the office here, and am working setting them up with DLNA. My goal is to be able to view video, photos, etc over the network.

So far, this has been very easy using either Windows Media Player or Samsung's own PC Share Manager.  The problem is that with both of these programs, you have to manually 'update' the library in the utility before files become available via the TV.

What I would like to do is set it up so that users can drop files into a network share, and those files become instantly (or nearly so) available via the TV. Right now, they could drop the files into the default directory for these programs (like \\server\mediashare\), but then a user (unfortunately me) must choose to 'add files to library' or 'Refresh Database'. I want to find a solution that cuts out this step.

    Thanks!
