Intelligent Batteries
« on: August 19, 2005, 08:40:12 AM »
I was wondering if there was any other way to charge the intelligent batteries (M1906) in the PowerBook 500 series laptops
without having them in the computer and without
a fancy external charger. My batteries are so dead that the computer
won't even recognize them, and I am hoping that I can get enough power
to them to get the computer to recognize them and I could use EMMpathy
or LIND Battery Utilities to fix them.

P.S. Intelligent Battery Recondition recognizes the batteries but says
they can't be fixed.
P.P.S. My floppy drive is broken so I can't put any new software on it.
P.P.P.S. I have a PowerBook 520
