Advice on what to look for in a broadband router

I'm looking for a 4 port broadband router. I'm not sure what features to look for though. My husband and I have our computer, two 360s and a ps3 that we want to have connected all the time. We might only use two devices at once, during rare occasions maybe 3, but I'm not sure if there is some kind of bandwidth cap where it will only let any devices connected go as fast as the router will allow. I don't know if that makes sense, i just remember seeing a lot of routers that said something about a 10mbps speed. We are paying for turbo service with our provider and we'd like to take advantage of that speed on everything connected, sometimes it goes up to 35mbps. It doesn't need to be wireless, we'd actually prefer something wired. So what kind of specs should I be looking for to find a router that will work the way I need it to?

I guess another thing I should add is that we use the connection mostly for gaming, so it is important that it is a constant connection.

The original Ethernet speed was 10Mbs but fast Ethernet (100Mbs) came out in 1995, and almost all routers support that speed, or even faster with Gigabit Ethernet.  Either of the routers you are looking at should be fine, but I would also look at Linksys.  I would go for brand name over price, but that's just me.

Your limiting speed will be the speed of your ISP.  You have got a good speed from your ISP, but most new routers will be much faster than your ISP.
