I have an EMachine T3120 and can't get into safe mode. F8 doesn't work. This computer boots up fine but when you want to do nearly anything at all it slows then stops. There are no particular programs hogging all the resources. All I can figure it might be is the 1gig of system memory could be holding it up. I did a defrag but there is 80% of the hd free. So that didn't help. I did a system virus scan but the scan runs for about just under a minute and stops. There are no error messages.
