Excel for Mac 2008 formatting
« on: May 18, 2011, 10:04:38 PM »
This is my first time on a forum so hopefully I am doing this correctly . . . (or even in the right place?)

I am running a Power PC G4 with Mac OS X 10.5.8.

I have an Excel file with 350 names (rows) in Column A. Column B has a corresponding number that goes with each name. I have both sides of a letter size sheet but need the top 1/3 of the front page for a large header (graphic). I would like to have four (4) COLUMNs (A+B=1 COLUMN) on each page in alpha order by name.

I'm stumped . . . I'm a graphic artist and have spent very little time with Excel except to make lists . . . never anything this complicated. Of course, I'm trying to help a friend with his Eagle Scout project and have already created the header graphic (the easy part for me).

I no longer have a book so I went through the menus like I would a new or unfamiliar graphics program but was unable to fine anything that would give me that kind of control.

Any suggestions as to where I could get some assistance?
