Please Help! Internet Problems!

Okay well i'm new to this forum and i really hope i can post here...

So i own a Windows 7 Acer laptop, it has aways been fine, but now it won't connect to anything.

This is reallly pissing me off since i'm not a patient person, every time i try connecting to a free WI-FI zone it says "Connected" then under it "No internet acces" i also tryed hooking it up to my internet wire (i don't know it controls internet for my regular desktop computer) and it won't connect eather and it ALWAYS does. I'm fairly anoyyed i tried almost EVERY setting on my computer and nothing works.

Whoever helps me and fixes my probelm you are a god. thanks.

When this sort of thing happens it maybe more that just some settings. Something happened that disabled part of your network connection.

One suggestion. try the direct cable again, but this time treat it as a new wire connection. Setup the network again.

static ip? if so set it to automatic or assigned by DHCP

try assigning static ip instead of using dhcp, works for me

Try seeing if there is an on/off switch for wireless. I know most Toshiba's do. This could reset the connection so you can get on.
