Software jsut to add Text, Audio & Video (.avi) to make own DVD-Movie

I Don't want to create a slideshow or a photo slideshow. I'm looking for a software where I can add Text, audio, and video and turn it into a DVD movie and burn it to a blank-DVD-R and play it on TV instead of Youtube. Is there any good software out there? Something simple and easy. The Text like in between video clips explaining things

Many CD/DVD programs already have such features. You just have to take time to learn them . Here are a bunch of videos to show you how to use Power Point.

Once you have the Power Point presentational done, you can burn it to a DVD for play back on a standard DVD player.
