    No audio output device is installed

    I have a 64-bit Windows 7 from HP, product number G60-530US. When I mouse over the speaker icon in my tray, it says that no audio output device is installed. I've tried reinstalling and updating the driver, and neither worked. I also downloaded HP's driver, but the download failed because it could not find the media device for the driver.

      Under "Sound, video and game controllers" is "Intel(R) High Definition Audio HDMI".

      No yellow exclamation mark?

        What does downloading have to to with installing the file?  I can download the file on to any computer.
