windows media player or codec problem?
« on: August 28, 2005, 02:04:19 PM »
i did a system recovery a while back, and after i got everything set up again i noticed that my windows media player was kinda messed up.  the movies it played were all super-light, and had a wierd, sort of "solarized", terrible-quality look to them.  i checked all the settings, like contrast, etc.  Even winamp had this problem, so i suspected it was some  codec thing.  i downloaded divx for .avis, but they look bad too.  what's going on?!!
