    desktop.ini ??????
    « on: July 16, 2011, 09:46:22 PM »
    Hello All
I have a problem. I don't know when it started, but I have noticed that
in almost all of the folders that I open There is a "desktop.ini (Configuration
settings)". I delete it but after I restart the computer it reappears again.
I have no idea what this is or why its in all these files.
    Any help will be apriciated.

    What desktop.ini is for.
Please do not delete desktop.ini-it is a configuration file for your folders and files, and is meant to be hidden.

Feel free to delete the desktop.ini files if you like - there's no potential harm. On the other hand, there's no harm in leaving them alone either.
