Misspelled words in e-mail

Hi -
When I compose an e-mail and click on the spell check I get a message that says:  The misspelled words will be underlined and click on them to get a correct spelling.  When I click on the underlined word, nothing happens.  What am I doing wrong?

Are you left clicking or right clicking. Have you tried both ??
