Help me please...I have a windows xp and when i try to access my internet or anything that is displayed on my screen... this pops up..."Windows cannot access the specified devices, path, or files. You may not have the appropriate permession to access the item." I dont know if i have a virus or if my computer needs to be cleaned for viruses and spyware or malware please help!!!!

Probably, yes! Experts here can only determine your exact problem if your computer is 100% free from virus. Aside from the issue you mentioned, are there any strange incident or glitches you are encountering on your computer? Have you tried to scan your computer? You may check this section when dealing virus removal.
