The application has failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.

What is the application event log?
Why would this occurr?
How can I fix it to access the application?
Easy step by step is appreciated.

I run on Windows 7 Home Premium.

Hi there,
you can try downloading your camera software, then re-installing it again. It's supposed to work after that.
