About the antivirus disk?
« on: October 03, 2011, 12:25:07 PM »
I purchased a kaspersky antivirus disk that was to be good on three computers for one year. I installed it on one desktop, and my laptop, it would never install on the 3rd desktop. I had to uninstall it on my desktop be cause it let some malware slip in. I have 233 days left on this program, and cannot get it reinstalled. I called and talked with a rep. tech. for about 3 hours and they could be of no help. They wanted to transfer me over to a tech. specialist the would take care of it for $138.00 I just got off of a chat service contact of Kaspersky and they could not help. Do anyone know how I can get this reinstalled? When I try to install it, I get so far and a message will come up that it cannot be installed in this folder. I don't know what folder they want! Can anyone be of any help? will appreciate any answer, Thanks.

I find your post hard to believe. I've dealt with Kaspersky customer support on several occasions and they have never been anything but helpful, solicitous, and polite. I suggest you try their customer support again.

Try using Kaspersky's own uninstaller programme, my friend, to completely remove everything relating to Kaspersky from your computer, and then try reinstalling.
