XBOX 360 Wireless for Windows PC problem
« on: September 29, 2011, 11:34:24 AM »
Hello, i've searched and searched but cannot find an answer nor any decent support so far. I have just done a clean install of windows 7 onto an SSD, switching my old HDD into the spare caddy after formatting it. The computer is up and running, all drivers installed to original (as running before on my old HDD). However i cannot seem to sync my Microsoft XBOX 360 Wireless Controller to my computer via the Reciever Dongle. I have installed the driver from the Microsoft site (win 7 64bit) however it is still not syncing or recognising it. IS there anything i can do?

I have gone to Devices and Printers, my dongle reciever is there however is not recognised, so i troubleshoot to diagnose and it comes back saying searching online for drivers, then tells me drivers cant be found and the device is not fixed. However, i have already installed the drivers! :S
