The entry in "Incoming Mail (POP3) remains in place for the duration that the computer is logged on. Log off and the entry defauts to a series of numbers and the email will not connect. The correct entry has to be reinput and applied again. Any thoughts? No virus or spyware is indicated in the computer. :)

Thanks, no email scanners ever attached to the laptop in question. A Vodafone Connect Card software was installed some time ago (and is never used in fact). :)
