    Access Privileges on iTunes
    « on: February 19, 2011, 04:46:49 PM »
    Hi,
I have recently downloaded iTunes on my PC which is on XP.
When i open it up it tells me that iTunes is not the default player and would i like to make it the default player for all audio files. When i go to click ''yes'' then it says that it could not update the audio files as i do not have access privileges. I am doing this whilst being logged on as the administrator.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

My sister's pc just had this last week. Update and run a virus scan - it seems that there is a nasty virus out there that makes certain files read-only, and doesn't allow certain user settings to be modified. This allows the virus to maintain control.
