In iTunes under properties you specify a path for mp3's to go to. If I had my laptop with me, I'd show a screenshot. iTunes has a default path which saves it within user profile under c:\documents and settings\username if XP or C:\users\username if Win 7

I changed my path to C:\Music and every CD gets converted to mp3 and saved there.

So the Path you can pick for your MP3s to go to when you Rip a CD is not the same thing as me changing the iTunes Media Folder then right?

Most media softwares have this feature either to converting or ripping music files to change default location or folder. Have you atleast tried ripping after changing your default location?
