    hello to every body

I am using windows xp and while accessing foxpro from command prompt the following message is displaying.

Phar Lasp err35: The 386 chip is currentlyexecuting in virtual 8086 mode under the control of another programme.  You must turn off this other programme in order to use 386: Dos-Extension to run in protected mode.

how to overcome this problem and how to access foxpro?

i am very happy if anybody solve my problem.

      What version of foxpro?

Why can't you upgrade to a later version that doesn't rely on DOS?

The error message indicates that it can't run in Virtual 8086 Mode. that means you can't run it under windows at all.

You might try something like DosBox.
I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.
