    Can someone help me with this everytime I connect my modem to start my network.  I notice that wmpscfg.exe runs in taskmanager and my network changes from home to public. Have I been hacked and I have disable wmpnscfg.exe in services and disabled in registry. Help computer mom

    I'm not sure what you mean by "everytime I connect my modem to start my network". Wmpscfg.exe is the updater for Windows Media Player.
