    Icant access Windows Firewall windows 7

    I cant access Windows Firewall  on windows 7. when i click on the windows firewall button on System and Security in control panel nothing happens?any one experience the same thing.please help me fix it.thanks ....

    Did it worked before and any changes prior to the problem? Users who have certain firewall issues are found in this Thread.

      the only thing that i think might be connected why it happen is,that i was on free trial for a month on avast that has a firewall.after 1month trial i just change back my avast to the free anti virus which doesnt have the fire wall that avast provided. I've check the status of my fire wall through services and its currently running. the problem that i have is i can't access the settings through the control panel.
