« on: September 16, 2005, 03:58:13 AM »
Hi,

I have a network with 5 PC 1 of them win 2000 the other win XP and 4 apple.

With all computers I can access the network  but I cannot access the internet with 1 Mac, 1 XP and 1 Win 2000.

Ip-adress O.K.
Subnet OK
Gateway OK

I can ping with the 3 computer that I have some trouble each computer and server SBS 2003 but it is impossible to ping the router (gateway).

Does anybody have an Idea.

Thanks

JSS:

Are you using TCP/IP only as a network protocol, or are you also using Apple Talk?

There are tools that allow you to locate the routers adress. It may not be always 192.168.1.1.
