Cannot print Documents! Infected! DrWatson Postmordem??
    « on: March 30, 2012, 01:09:54 PM »
    Hello,
My computer will not print. When it makes the attempt to print the document (word, excel, etc.) closes and then DrWatson pops up?!? Any ideas? I am running Malwarebytes right now. Did SuperAntiSpyware and removed those threats. Any ideas?

Description of the Dr. Watson for Windows (Drwtsn32.exe) Tool

Basically Dr Watson is Windows built in debugging software. Not malware.

    Is your printer software up-to-date?
Did you save the SuperAntiSpyware log? If so post it please.

I would restart in safe mode without networking before running MalwareBytes.

No. Malwarebytes is designed to be run in normal mode. Safe mode is to be used in rare circumstances when it will not run in normal mode. ;)

The only thing in the logs was some Adware which while a nuisance to some is not really dangerous like a trojan, worm, etc, would be.

I deleted all of my printers and now it won't read my hp disc....

I'm not sure I know what you mean by this.

I assume you mean it's an HP printer and it won't read the driver CD that came with it.

You can also download the driver from HP support for free:
