Running windows XP Pro.  I am trying to copy and paste a file onto my desktop or even move it by dragging.  Every time I do this my computer locks up and it will not paste the file or move it.  Please help this is a data base that I need to move to an updated program.

I know but I can't copy or paste anything.  I have tried just very small files and still nothing just freezes up.
