BSOD and computer auto restore problem
    « on: May 07, 2012, 08:27:06 AM »
My Computer: Windows 7 ultimate , SP1, 64 bit, 4GB RAM, Intel Core i5, graphics ATI Radeon HD 5800 series,
I currently use ESET Nod 32 security, and this is always on last scan being 9th March 2012, and virus database up to date.

4th May 2012 -  I used my computer since midday, and around 6pm when my younger cousin (5yo) came over i turned a DVD on for her and let her watch on my computer for around 1 hour. When i came back she was still there watching not messing with the computer. When she went home i started using the computer and this is when the first BSOD began.
At this point i realise i cant login to use MSN live messenger also then followed by another 3 BSOD within per 30 minutes. Since then it has been BSODing randomly as far as i can tell.

What I've tried, uninstalling MSN, uninstalling Nod32, installing YourUninstaller. Ive also saved pictures and work file, and empty my Recycle bin.
But after a restart, shutdown or BSOD, everything is back to the way it was (back to 4th may 2012 - as far as i can tell).

What I see on the BSOD is SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION and STOP: 0x0000003B
and another time, something to do with KERNEL

    Any help would be appreciated!!

    Download BlueScreenView:
    http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html
unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe to run the program.
when scanning is done, go to EDIT - Select All
Go to FILE - SAVE Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all of the content, and paste it into your next reply

That's not the info I was looking for, but it's okay for a start.

Download and install the current driver for your video card (uninstall the old driver first). Then let's see where we are.
