    Win7, XP, Linux Mint 15 KDE

    With the frequency of  forum topics coming back from the dead... should there be a lock on them to prevent this after say 30 days of inactivity to where they then become reference. We can all then just refer to the reference when it needs to be brought up again vs brought back from the dead or hijacked by others as we have also seen?

      Sorry guys for not replying...I came back to this post(this is actually my first post in computer hope), and realized there's hundreds of replies...I read all the replies and got an idea of the pros and cons of all the OS. Thanks

      Discussion threads are normally not locked based on a certain time lapse since the last activity.  However, we prefer people generally start a new discussion rather than post in an old discussion even though they may have found one which is similar to their issue.
