Hello,
             what is it with 'APPLE computers'?. Is it different than other pc?. Why is this so called name seen again and again.
Any answers.

    An Apple is a different type of computer, like a CD is different from a cassette tape. The architecture is different, the operating systems are different, etc. It does the same things, but gets there in different ways. Issues and resolutions for Apple computers are therefore different than for the more popular PC platform, and so this site has dedicated a separate category to them.
