Updated video drivers, now Chrome won't open
    « on: October 21, 2012, 04:48:39 PM »
I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times. The browser appears in the Process list (Vista) but doesn't appear. I've tried disabling antivirus and firewall. I've run antivirus as well. I have no idea what happened when I upated the drivers. (Radeon 4650 if that matters. )

Edited to add that I am running Windows Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 2.

If you are still around and have not solved your issue here is a link to the very latest version of Google Chrtome and a description of it.

You do not mention what version it is that you have been trying to access so this might help.truenorth

I don't know which driver you chose in the update. However here is a link to the drivers associated with the video card. Perhaps a different driver that can resolve the issue may be available from the site.

You could try rolling back the driver to the previous version.

I had to update the driver because I was having video problems.
