    Hey all, I am getting an error message when I go to update windows update and try to change settings on firewall, Error message (ox80070424) Its really frustrating me cause I have tried for 2 days to fix this problem, tried the service manager thing= FAIL, run registry trick... Run....regsvr32 qmgr.dllis and run..regsvr32 qmgrxy.dllis= FAIL. Ran windows trouble shooter=FAIL. I am out of options and brainstorms!!!! Please help.... my specs are listed under MY SPECS next to avatar. Thanks. P.S I have ran a virus scan=fail.. malwarebytes=fail..Superantispyware=fail.. CC cleaner fail................................

    If your protection apps are failing as well...unless you are using that term loosely it's most likely you are infected...

      Hey man I tried to post the adwcleaner log but got an error (the message body was feft empty) I did the posting steps?

      You need to post the logs (all of them) in the Malware Removal forum. Start a new topic.

      Also quit running the scans over and over. We need to see what was found/removed in the logs.

      P.S. You started a malware removal topic in September and never followed up. That's not a good idea. We are willing to help but that is as long as you follow through until given the all clear. Abandoning a topic is wasting our time that we can be helping others.
