Internet Explorer 8 won't show pictures
    « on: October 29, 2012, 09:24:12 PM »
I had a "Rootkit Activity" virus on my computer.  The virus is gone but ever since, no web pages on my Internet Exporer 8 will show pictures.  I think I may still have a virus left - Norton 360 keeps blocking unauthorized access.  I've tried all the quick (and some not so quick) fixes suggested from various web sites including microsoft answers and nothing has worked.  I could pay microsoft $100 to fix it with on-line access, but I thought I would try this forum first.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards,
    Brian

Are you using any Ad Blocker? or

show pictures turned off in you IE? Just check once.

      Open IE,
      Tools>Internet Options
      Click on Advanced tab
find the Multimedia section and select the show pictures check box and than press OK.

A good way of solving this is downloading a better browser, like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Seriously,  ;D
