I'm sorry, but your question makes absolutely no sense at all. Please explain in detail the problem(s) you are currently having (maybe we can help) and exactly what it is you want to do.

So you just want to know how to enter bios? When the system first starts watch the screen and you should see a message that says something like:

Press ??? to enter Setup (it may say bios instead of setup). At that point, tap the indicated key a few times.

Do you see a message when you boot telling you what key to press?

What is the model of your computer?

My model is the Toshiba salellite pro L300, the only message I see at the bottom is f2 set up or F12 for boot, I try both of these for the bios set up, not going into bios

You need to keep tapping F2 as soon as you see that message. If that doesn't take you into the bios I suggest you contact Toshiba

You STILL haven't described the EXACT problems you are having, you are giving information piecemeal (it won't shut down, you're trying to install XP, you can't get into the bios, now you're getting a blue screen error). PLEASE - start at the beginning and provide us with COMPLETE AND EXACT details of the problem(s) you are having.

Second, tell us about your system and what is new or different since the last time everything worked properly (ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, etc)?

                  Last, Download BlueScreenView:
                  http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html
unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe to run the program.
when scanning is done, go to EDIT - Select All
Go to FILE - SAVE Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all of the content, and paste it into your next reply

I am trying to get beyond the blue screen with the message on the screen, the website is telling me it is to large to send the image of the error message
