Outlook Error all of a sudden
« on: October 12, 2005, 01:04:46 PM »
I have started getting an Outlook XP error 0x800c8105. I can send but not receive mail. POP and SMTP settings are correct. Have not made any changes to the machine. Have not attempted to send any large attachments. Still won't receive with Norton disabled. Zone Alarm not present on machine.
Cannot find useful dialogue on Google... I'm stumped!
Any ideas on what I could do next.
Thanks in advance.

Why don't you go to google.com and type in "0x800c8105 error" and see what you can learn?

Thanks but I wasn't really interested in downloading anything

http://www.freedownloadtools.com/  or http://www.registryfix.com/?hop=pccleaner2

I saw the post here but didn't  find it of any use. Have I missed something?

Just that a LOT of people have had the same problem and there is at least one Microsoft Knowledge Base article addressing this.  Off to the Microsoft site for you then!   ::) ::) ::)
