Page won't load 100 %

Hello all, first time posting here


Have a small problem

I use Firefox on my laptop and try to load up.... Say the ubisoft customer support page but the whole page doesn't load, there's 2-3 fields missing where I have to input info, but I can access it on my phone.

Any thoughts?

Which version of Firefox are you running? Do you have any content blocker addons added which may be getting in the way?

Using the most updated Firefox 64 bit I use ad block plus but disabled it and still no change. Seems to happen on internet explorer too

hmm... interesting that its both FF and IE with same issue, yet its ok on your phone so the site doesnt have an issue. Assuming that all other websites are flawless, do you have anything else that may be blocking it such as Norton Internet Security etc.

I only use comodo anti virus/firewall atm

Are you by chance using any types of proxies set up in your browsers??

not that i know of, dont know how to set proxys up : /

Only have a few add ons media hint/ ad block/ x-notifer.

When Firefox updates you need to check for all addon updates as well...
They are mostly authored outside of the Mozilla framework.

seems to be working on IE now, after i disable java

In firefox, click Help >> Restart with Ad-ons Disabled....
This will disabled all installed addon-ons temporarily. Check if you still experience problems. If this fixes for you, Restart firefox in normal mode, and disable addons one by one to check which addon is causing problem.

Alternatively, as you said disabling java fixed it in IE. If java runtime installed in your system is older version, this creates problems while browsing sometimes. Download latest version of java from http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp Download the Offline installer for windows. be sure all your browsers are closed when you run the installer.

You can first remove java from 'add/remove programs' (windows xp) / 'Programs and features' (Windows vista and above). Installing latest version manually sometimes keeps the older version also installed in your system which is really of no use.
