Hurricane Wilma
« on: October 19, 2005, 04:16:32 PM »
Well guys... It appears that Hurricane Wilma is on it's way to me... I live in the Tampa Bay Area, so it might come close... My point of this message is to let you know that I might disappear from the forum for a while due to power issues or evacuations... Just FYI  ;)

What a waste in re-useable energy........the usa needs wind farms to harness it........saves the oil......

Yeah. So far it hasn't made the turn, but if it stays on the course that the news station is showing, then it will make a clean pass. The worst I will see is a lot of rain and some wind... Could still knock out the power though  :(

That's why you need to install a hand crank on that computer.

Well, it just passed right by. Only seeing Tropical Force winds and rain. Perfectly normal. False alarm  :-/
