    Email forwarded with pictures
    « on: July 10, 2012, 10:52:15 AM »
Why is it when I receive a funny joke in my email box with pictures, then try to forward it to someone, the person will receive the email, but all the picture boxes are blank? They can open up the email, but all they see is the outline of the picture, but no picture.

Some more information would be helpful.  Are you using an email client (Outlook Express, Windows Live Mail, etc.) or are you using webmail, i.e. accessing your email via web browser?  If webmail, are you using Yahoo Mail, gmail, or what?

When you receive these emails, are the pictures included as Attachments, or are they embedded in the message?

Right t clik the image in the email and save it to the desktop...
Then compose the e-mail and send it as an attachment...

I receive an e-mail with multiple pictures but when I forward it some or all of the pictures are missing. I get a warning that they are missing with a question if I want to continue sending it anyway. I tried this in both live mail and g-mail (same message)same results.
I'm using a Dell with windows 7 and gobs of memory.

Please! don't tell me how to fix the symptom. (Like sending it as an attachment)  I want to know what the CAUSE is and fix it so it doesn't happen in the future.
