    I get error run time error 339

    componet comdlg32.ocx  or one of its dependtencies not correctly registered: or a file missing or invalid

    Windows 8



    can't seem to find this file :/

    Or dDo you mean
    Mscomctl.ocx insterad?
    That file was part of  Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0

      I did see about that but, it didn't seem like it was part of my issue

        How long have you been posting here? Surely you know that we need actual information.

        -What were you doing? Trying to start an Application? What Application? Did you try reinstalling it?

        If you are on Windows x64 it should be in C:\Windows\syswow64. If you are on 32-bit Windows it will be in C:\Windows\System32. However, that is assuming that whatever program you are trying to run installed it properly.
        I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.
