    GMail account
    « on: June 06, 2014, 08:40:53 AM »

I have a gmail account created long long back. I do not use the same and I do not remember any details about the account. Now I want to start using it but unable to remember password. When I try to reset the password, it is asking me a lot of details which I do not remember.

How do I convey this to them? Or what is the alternate way?

    Thanks

Maybe i am wrong, but I don't think there is much you can do. They will ask you a lot of questions and you may not want to give out that much personal detail.

Whenever you start any on-line account you have to find some way to make it secure. Here are three tips for making new account secure.
    • Provide an alternative e-mail that can  used to reset the
    • Submit only details  that you would always remember.
    • Make  a screen copy,  print it, and keep it in you private papers.
You must never use passwords that are easy to guess.
    None of these kind:
    • Batman
    • qwerty
    • pickle
Just get a new account using g a new name.

    Some popular free email providers

    Does that help any?

Persistent correspondence works the best in these matters...
At least 1 e-mail a week or so...

Perhaps just creating a new gmail account would be much easier than trying to resurrect your old one.
