Is there a way to reset the volume in windows 8?  It seems to be defaulted at 39%, which I find really aggravating.  Even if I change it while watching a video, etc, it is back at 39% if I open a new video.

OK, I had seen this article, but hoped there is an easier way; this is way too involved for my skills.
