IE breaks down on important websites e.g. net banking

works fine on google chrome but no good on IE
 how can I fix this.

Why try to fix it?  Just use Chrome for those sites where it works best for you.

To add to what I said in my previous post, I also encounter sites that IE will not properly display and I find Chrome usually will render the sites correctly. This seems to have become increasingly not uncommon.
