Windows7 Pro. 64b.
Have an independent graphics card on motherboard.
About a week ago, the monitor shut down and turned on again by itself, and shut down again but did not turn on this time. Since then, the monitor shuts down in 6 to 8 minutes after the start of the PC.
Shifted video setting from auto to onboard in BIOS, and so also the cable. The "monitor shut down" problem has gone away.
What might be the problem, please?
