Game- Run-time error 50003

Hi,
Ive not had my own computer for very long, so I dont have many games.

I bought some older games cheaply from GAME, re-released by 'Sold-Out Software'

The only annoying thing was that everytime I put a disc in it ran the installation menu instead of the game

They worked fine for a coupla days, but all except 2 (I have 6) start the installation menu as normal, and then the error message appears:

Run-time error 50003

And it closes. Putting the disc in, waiting for the menu to (annoyingly) close itself, then manually selectingthe game from the disc doesnt work.

They all worked before! thats what annoys me and (this is a shared com. so I cant be certain) no-ones made any recent changes

I suspect crappy old games & XP are not a good mix.
What games are they?
