    What is "Jobs" Command in Redhat Linux

    Well I am fresh in Red hat Linux
    What is Jobs command in Red hat Linux? Someone give me some basic introduction Jobs command.
    Well I surfs on internet they all show "man jobs" to get information but I don't understand information.
    can some one give example of Jobs command and how to user

      The jobs command lists the status of tasks started in the current shell. For example, if you've started a task and then suspend it, you can view its status by running this command. More info: jobs
