wireless router needs rebooting to re-connect each time
    « on: February 02, 2015, 07:41:00 AM »
My router is a NETGEAR model supplied by AT&T.  7550.  All other wireless devices (4 iphones, three ipads, 1 Ethernet connected desktop, and two wireless laptops) work fine with wireless router, but my HP laptop (HP Pavilion 17-c017dx Notebook (energy star)) running win 8.1 is allowed only one login.  If I shut down the laptop and restart it the router will NOT connect with it.  I can always just reboot router but its a headache that must have an easy fix in configuration.  on laptop with issue DHCP is enabled on private profile, Norton AV, REaltek wireless adapter,  WPA2 Personal, AES encryption.  Thanks In Advance for any tips or solutions!
