    Microsoft Password
    « on: April 05, 2015, 08:50:15 AM »
Usually when I open my laptop (Acer model) I can go straight to my desktop.  Lately, however, before I can access the desktop,
I am asked to enter my password.

This is rather annoying, particularly as every time I leave the computer switched on FOR ONLY A FEW SECONDS, AND WITHOUT DOING ANY NAVIGATION AT ALL, the screen changes and takes me back to where I am asked to re-enter my password.

    How to avoid this please?

    P.S. I use Windows 8.1

    Many thanks for your help.

Power Options or Screen Saver settings are where stuff like this triggers.

Make sure no screen saver or idle system lock is enabled.

Thks for your help. I use a screen saver which has never given me any trouble.
