Please Help

 I have a computer that runs on Windows 98..
I can't find the volume controll for one and the next problem well main problem is I don't have any sounds..

Can someone help?

Open control panel. Double the mutimedia icon. At bottom of the dialog box is a line that says "show volumn control on the task bar". Make sure there is a check mark next to it.

also check that the mute box is unticked..<when you right click on the icon that will appear like a speaker on the task-bar
