Windows server 2003
« on: October 26, 2005, 10:50:12 AM »
I have 2 windows 2003 servers.  We installed a new antivirus program called EZtrust, by Computer Associates.  Now, all of the services will not respond. We can't start, stop, or restart any services....plus, we cannot uninstall the antivirus program because the system needs to use the windows installer service, which cannot start.  If anybody has an idea, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Are you logging in locally with the Administrators account or a nominated administrator?

Have you checked that the Group policies have not been changed in any way?

The systems are apart of a Windows domain with about 250 computers and servers.  We've been logging in as the administrator password for our domain and system restore is set on both machines.  I've tried several methods to uninstall this software and get our services under control, but I haven't had any succecss.  Thanks for the posts
