Next Big Win 10 Update in November.
« on: October 22, 2015, 09:56:10 PM »
Microsoft has announced a major update to the Windows 10 Operating system will come in November.
Since its release four weeks ago, 75 million devices are now running Microsoft’s new Windows 10 operating system, said Yusuf Mehdi, the company’s Corporate Vice President of Marketing for Windows and Devices.

The update will contain a number of fixes and UI changes that were originally planned for the final version of Windows 10. These include colored title bars for desktop apps, improved context menus, and an extra column of Live Tiles for the Start menu. Microsoft will also ship Messaging and Skype Video apps for the Windows 10 update that bring native Skype calling and messaging to the operating system.

A number of sites have the same derails. Here are some:

PC World says it is not the big update expected.

The PC Mag says:
You won't find any support for Edge extensions in the update, unfortunately. This feature, which some rightfully assumed would arrive by fall...
What does this mean for you?  :)

Bringing back the ability (presumably) to customize titlebar colours so there isn't white everywhere will be great, that was one of my annoyances with Windows 10.

Unfortunately, my other, more important, annoyance- that Windows Update gives far less control to the user than with previous versions- sounds like it will remain.
I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.
