Ethernet driver
« on: November 21, 2005, 09:02:16 PM »
I recently Made a new computer using a ASUS P5LD2-VM motherboard. When i went to install the Ethernet driver an error message comes up saying the SNMP service is not installed, Please instlal then start set up. I thought Windows XP comes with that but maybe im wrong. What can i do to either work around that problem or get SNMP onto my computer?
THanks a lot

there a few updates sp1 and then sp2 and since then an accumulation of updates from the microsoft updates site that once installed  should resolve your problem, the other thing to try is the asus web site for updated drivers use internet explorer to view this site as it does not work well with other browsers.
