On my Vista Home Basic installed updates folder shows hot fixes to the sp1 & sp2 service packs , but not showing any on the system performance tab ? Is it best to let the Microsoft updater choose when to update the correct patches, service packs automantic or should be done manually ? Are Hot fixes temporary till the stand alone SP1 & 2 are ready to be installed later on by windows updater
