File Association has been altered on my computer
    « on: July 14, 2016, 10:03:47 AM »
Following a recent Win !0 update, I have lost the ability to do a left mouse click on a file to open it. I get an error message saying that there is no file association - please see attached. In order to open a file I now have to right click and select 'open' from the drop down menu, which is very time consuming. Any assistance, that is not too technical, would be helpful. Thanks

AShampoo may very well be the culprit...i never thought much of it myself.

Thanks to both Davel.embke & Patio for their suggestions. However the suggestion that I use the Association re-set via Google did not work, as I still have the same problem. I will make more enquiries.
I don't think that Ashampoo caused the problem as I have been using this screen grabber for some time now and it hasn't caused me any problems in the past. The issue came to light following a Microsoft Windows 10 Update.
Again thank you for your replies.
